Yoga, Meditation and Sound
I aim to offer simple, yet high quality, classes, workshops and courses. I couple a scientific approach of physiology and psychology with a deep reverence for the history and philosophy of yoga, meditation and sound, thereby offering a modern approach to the timeless wisdom of wellness traditions.
Why work with me?
Wellness tends to be packaged in quick fixes. Instead, my mission is to provide detail and depth, through sharing thoroughly researched and evidence-based practices. I aim to empower you through knowledge, so that you can properly get to know yourself and your practice better in the longterm. I hold a distinction level MSc in Psychology from UCL, and have years of experience working in the mental health third sector and NHS, bringing a genuinely evidence-based approach to our work together.
Classes often veer into woo-woo, or avoid spirituality entirely. This is a great loss. The scriptures, teachings, and practices of ancient wisdom traditions are the beating heart of what I offer. But I share in an accesible, inclusive way, like in the form of a poem slipped in, or a thread of a philosophical theme. I bring over a decade of in-depth experience with spirituality, having lived in spiritual monasteries and ashrams around the world and received on-going training and teaching from great spiritual masters.
My students have generously described me as gentle, honest, and sincerely encouraging. I see our work together as a conversation, so I am always open to feedback. As I often say: you are your greatest teacher, I’m just here to help you to explore the possibilities already available to you in your practice.
To work together, you can join one of my public classes in London, book a 1-1 for yourself or your team, or study one of my online courses from the comfort of your own home. Go to ‘bookings’ to find out more.

Yoga
My classes are intentionally slower paced - I especially enjoy teaching soft yin and slow flows. I don’t play music in my classes: I find that quietness invites us to be with ourselves even more honestly and intimately. Together, we'll work through a particular theme over a series of weeks, often an anatomical theme coupled with a philosophical element - so you'll be sure to learn something new in your practice and make real progress. We’ll hone both anatomical and energetic alignment, find tone and rest in the body, as well as a vibrantly, well-resourced mind.

Meditation
There are so many different styles, techniques and philosophies of meditation, from mantra to vipassana, loving-kindness to open awareness. Each has a specific historic context and a proper way to be practiced. Each has a different intention in mind, and will thus evoke different changes in you, from increased concentration to connection to something higher. I have spent over a decade vigorously practising different meditation methods, and my goal is to support you in finding the right practice for you. I currently teach mindfulness as well as mantra meditation.

Sound
My sound experiences always start with a deep relaxation meditation - to help you to drop in and prepare to receive the healing sound frequencies. You will then be lead through an intuitive offering of harmonium, crystal sound bowls, himalayan singing bowls, gong, percussion and the voice, singing sacred mantra. The intention is to safely set the space for you to experience deep, replenishing rest, as well as the possibility for creative and spiritual clarity and self-realisation. I guide sound meditations, sound baths, and kirtans.
